Refridgerated vintage computing - Recommended mixes?

So recently there was a special on ice-cream machines, and I bought one. It sits presently right next to my Apple IIe.

The problem with having a self-refrigerating ice cream machine though is that I keep feeding it more and more liquid (batter?) and it churns out stomach inches - though in fairness, it's within my Keto diet limitations, so I'm not gaining weight yet.

So I figure I can't be the only one who churns up a batch of ice cream while waiting on my systems to boot...

Does anyone have some good icecream mix suggestions?

Never made my own ice cream personally. Every time I've tried some that someone made in a DIY machine I never found it to be as good as factory
