Hey everyone. I'm seeking a twiggy floppy drive set for my Apple Lisa 1. Doesn't need to be in working condition. Offering in exchange either a VT05 terminal in need of restoration or a near flawless Apple II rev. 0 (serial #1104) complete with its original box. PM me if you have what I need!

Wow, never even realized there was a VT05, very cool to see. Good luck on the Twiggy.
 
VT05 = Very space-age case plus very limited functionality; a real "glass teletype" ... and a bit more (scrolling and cursor addressing). Iconic but you needed a very big desktop or a separate roller-stand. VT50/52 had the same large form-factor challenge.
 
And apparently you could feed video into it and the text would be overlaid, that’s certainly something 🤔

I wanted to say you saw one doing that in the movie “Westworld”, but digging around it looks like I’m probably misremembering. Pretty sure there’s at least one bad 70’s sci-fi movie showing off that capability, though…
