I just want to share my old antivirus program I've created sometime like 16 years ago. It was kind of useful back those old days in our university since during those times, DOS viruses proliferation were very high. VCheck detects around 200+ of the most common viruses found in my country back then. This is the last unreleased beta in 2005. Also included are three file virus specific scanners for Die_Hard (Anti-SW) , Al-Dith (AntiDith), YeZ (Anti-YeZ) viruses.

too bad its not updateable. I miss the days of manually adding updated DAT files to update old DOS / early windows versions of Norton and Mcafee. Then they became ridiculous. Now I wouldn't load them on a machine I didn't want to cripple.

back in the old days i prefer to use F-Prot , but McAfee was kinda handy tho and with every updates they become more efficient but substantially increases in size that they barely fit on a 360kb floppy

I use a very basic one I got a lifetime update plan for 15 years ago. ITs minimalistic and It updates without forcing me to update the program ( I use the program from 12 years ago before the UI got stupid). I pretty much just use it for questionable sites and downloads. It paid for itself years ago.

I will greatly appreciate if someone will get to test it on their machines and give feedbacks
thanks!

Also, there's no need top copy the same text again and again. Just post the updated link or attach the file to your post.

I will make some minor enhancements and detection in a couple of days such adding some boot sector viruses signatures, that were present in Wildlist.org "in the wild list" from 1995 up until 1999
but were not previously included. In the meantime just added some screenshots and updated links:
