I have both the Sharp PC-1500 and PC-1500A along with the CE-150 base unit (with 4 new recently bought pens) all in excellent working order.
The PC-1500 has CE-155 module and the PC-1500A has a CE-161 module.
Without using the tape cassette option to save and load programs how many programs can be stored just on the pocket computer (how do I do that?) and can programs be also stored on either the CE-155 or the CE-161 at all (again if so how please?).

Thanks

The quick answer is 1. One program at a time.

The CE-155 is just a RAM module. It just lets you put bigger programs in to your PC-1500.

The CE-161, though, should be able to hold another program. Some Google searches should turn up the user manual to show you how to do that.

I have a TRS-80 PC-2 (the Radio Shack version of the PC-1500). I use some creative programming to store multiple programs. Each program just has to have it's own block of line numbers.

ex: Program 1 is lines 10-500, Program 2 is 510-1000, etc. Then you can use the label feature to just run the program you want with 2 key strokes (DEF-<some letter>).
