Straight-8 Type 183 Memory Extension question

The serial number for my processor backplane is 1296, and the serial number for my memory backplane is 1298. It looks to have a considerable number of wire mods. Good! Another victim for a backplane tracer. Unfortunately, there are soldered wires on the backplane coming from the memory module. Is that original?

I will get better pictures of the backplanes next Wednesday. Our backplane is S/N 446 and the System Number is #13. You have lots of wiring changes that I don't see on our very early machine. Ours is documented in the F87 manual, so I imagine that yours is documented in the F87A manual. It would be interesting to know what changed between F87 and F87A.

You have a boards in slots MC30, MD31, and MD29 that we don't have.
