Does anyone have documentation on the 16 dip switches for an IBM 512KB memory board?

The current settings allocate all 512KB to Extended memory. I want to allocate 128KB to Base Memory and the remaining 384KB to Extended Memory. This arrangement will increase my AT 5170 Base Memory to 640KB (the motherboard has 512KB).

Thanks,

I don't even know if what you say is possible - allocating some memory to the base and some to the extended range, but then again, I am still newbee at this, pretty much, hehe.

If it is possible, then you're just going to do what I had to do for my extended memory board, just try settings one by one, a painstakingly long process. It took me about 2 hours to get the 8-switch DIP on my card to the somewhat proper settings (got the memory to register but the ports still don't work). I think you're just going to have to settle with 512KB of extended memory.

Luckily, I also have the 128KB base memory card in my AT, giving me the full 640KB base memory, then 2MB of extended.
