Hi all,
Just acquired a Toshiba T1850C laptop. The little guy has a 386 SX 25 CPU with 12 megs of ram. The floppy initially stuck and would not read anything, but i finally got it free and is working. The hard drive tho is stone dead. It makes buzzing and musical tones when the power is on The drive in question is a Connor CP2124 120MB. Are the hard drive parameters hard coded into the bios on the toshiba or Can i use a similar vintage hard drive or even a newer hdd, such a 1 500 meg or 1 gig?
Thanks for the help!
