A few days ago, a fellow listed a pile of floppy disks on the sell forum here for ffs.

I took one box, and I received it yesterday. The guy who got the other box posted that he would post an inventory in case anyone needed something in there. So here’s a few pics of the disks I received.

Here’s the rest (I hope)

If anyone sees anything they gotta have, let me know. There are only a few disks in this lot that I want to keep. It looks like a few of the msdos disks are high density. As I got them for nearly free, it wouldn’t be right for me to charge for them (aside from shipping)

I received my box today. Here is picture of the crop of TRS-80 software disks after I sorted out data disks and disks for PC. Have not yet tried to read any of the floppies yet.IMG_0828 (2).JPG

Whether you keep them or find another home for them, I just wanted to say that it was pretty cool of you guys to be willing to "share the wealth" so to speak. That's what makes this hobby fun. My hats off to you both!

-Alex

It would be good to archive the various XLR8 disks since not all the utilities have been recovered.

Is that something you would be able to do? I don’t have a machine that can read the disks, but I can try to get then to someone who does.

I suggest that the "DS80" diskettes be Double Sided 80 tracks floppies. if you cannot read them in a standard drive, I offer my services to image those DS80 floppies as I have a 5;25" DSDD 80 tracks drive.
if you need help imaging Dittman or I can do all of them .. the lotus and high density diskette apart (likely later systems like a tandy 2000)
