My 11/04 had slides like the bottom picture on its chassis when I got it from Tim. I think the bottom slides are correct.

I recall some discussions back in the day about slides, and much displeasure over the change. I do not remember the specifics, except the axis point of the newer slide, caused the back of the box to collide with things during rotation. It was one of those cursing sessions now and again.
You might recall my talking about a "frankenputer" in the past... Back in the day, one of our guys had to re-purpose a box to be the main unit of our 34... drove everyone nuts because of the internal mislabeling.
Well, it was one of the issues.
Anyway, I remember those "slim" slides... but not their original source, purpose or when they began showing up.
Anyone recall what the slides on an "expander" box look like?
