... looks like you have all the bells and whistles. Very nice presentation.

What did you use to clean the case? it looks like it just came off the assembly line.
 
Actually I felt inclined to pipe up as well. Definitely love seeing all the software/manuals you have there. Quite an impressive setup for that machine.
 
Totally in agreement with two posts above, that is one awesome station!

Man, mine didn't look that good "back in the day" ;-)

It was a much simpler time back then, for computing. Things weren't necessarily easier, but when your whole OS (and most of your applications) would each fit on a single 360KB floppy, or a 10/20 MB hard drive would hold all your software, data and have room to spare, that says a lot.

Now, we have programs that can take hundreds of MBs, and installing an OS (Windows, OS X) takes a DVD!

Funny, but there is something very elegant about a clean and well-presented IBM 5150. It just has "classic" written all over it.
