WTB Daisy wheel printer or electronic typewriter SF eastbay

one project idea I've had for a while is making a printing serial terminal similar to an old teletype. I need either a working daisy wheel printer, or an electronic typewriter. I know a lot of electric typewriters are purely mechanical... I need one that is microprocessor controlled... one that has some kind of correction memory or similar is probably a good bet. I could e-bay... but first i want to see if any of you have something like this you're dying to get rid of. I can come pick it up. The shipping cost plus probably poor packing of heavy items has me scared to buy this online.

You might start with an old (e.g. Brother) portable Word processor. Should have everything you need.

I've built a serial interface for an IBM Wheelwriter (see: https://sites.google.com/view/arduinowheelwriter/home). In a big place like Oakland or SF you should be able to find a Wheelwriter on Craigslist.

I have a spare Smith Corona TP-2, but it is a bit of a tank, and shipping across the country would not be particularly cheap.
