Hello, it's that time of year again where I have lots of disposable income to put into various hobby projects of mine. I seem to get pretty good results every time I make a post.

I am a collector of vintage hard disk drives, typically from 1979 to 1994 or so, though I don't specifically limit myself in this way.
The majority of my interest lies in drives with the SA-1000, ST-506, and ST-412 interfaces, though of course I am interested in other drives.

I am interested in most "vintage" drives and almost all with those interfaces.
Drives can be any condition, functional or not, cosmetically poor. I am not averse to drives missing components, as long as they are priced accordingly.

Must accept PayPal, must be willing to ship to Alabama. Make me an offer!

I have a long list of drives which I would be willing to pay particular premiums for:

I have 2 kyocera KC20B drives that are non functional. You may recall I got one working but the flexi steel strap broke and I stopped playing. Happy to ship to you at cost ..

I have 2 functioning external D2 LaCie SCSI drives - 9GB and 18GB... just reformatted/wiped for use with Apple OS9 computers.
Ships with SCSI and power cable. I am first owner of these and am retiring my vintage Apple gear.
I would ship to you in Alabama, would need address for confirmed shipping prices.
I don't do PayPal but do accept e-transfer. My prices are in Canadian $.
Here are my local ad links for pix and any other info.

Hello! Sadly, these drives are both much newer than I have interest in collecting, and would be far more than I would want to pay after shipping + import tax. I also can only pay via PayPal or Venmo.

Thanks for the offer, though. I hope they find a new home!

I have the following:

Shugart Associates SA-1004 and SA-4008 in mint conditions
I also have a very rare Shugart (not Seagate) Technology ST-506 (pic below)
Quantum Q-2010 (one in mint condition, one also mint but missing motor)
HP Kittyhawk

and many other 5.25" full height SCSI and MFM

Are you interested in IBM stuff: I have an IBM 21ED (8")
