Dream Car:
Ford GT, not the mustang, but the super car GT.

Crap Car:
1989 Oldsmobile Supreme SL, tranny went out under 80K miles.

If you don't like cars with problems then stay away from the GT. It's one of the least reliable supercars out there.

One guy wrote a long article about how he put a deposit down years in advance, finally got the car and then quickly forced Ford to buy it back because he couldn't keep it on the road.

I hope they get the bugs worked out, though. It's a fantastic looking car! Almost as awesome as the original GT40!

Thanks!

Don't you know that Yellow is the fastest color?? :D

well I was never fond of yellow but black fits best on the stingray. believe me. I inherited an 81 stingray and it looked awesome in black, but otherwise very fast car, reliable, get's a lot of stares (people looking at ur awesome car!)

The day I can afford a GT, I can afford to keep her going.

I couldn't fit in a gt40..lol
No super cars are reliable.....Not meant to be.

When I'm old enough to drive I'd like an original Rally Mini. Thats if we have any petrol then and we aren't vegetables plugged into large government satellites telling us Cillit Bang is a tool of evil...Oh the Implications!

yeah but don't you all think that the mustang is a chick car?

Yeah, but only a 'chick' would ever own one (oops! I've had a few myself). Oh, sorry...we aren't s'pozed to do any Ford-bashing in this thread.
For the record, I drive a Chebby (CanHearEveryValveRattleOnLongExtendedTrips) every day, but I'd prefer a DORF.

I believe some of James Bond's conquests or female enemies have driven a Mustang. The upcoming movie (Casino Royale remake) features Ford Mondeo (Contour in the US), but it unclear if it is Bond's own movie or some chick/crook car.

Maybe James Bond is planning to find another woman to marry and have children, so he needed a practical car with room for the whole family and luggage when going on a skiing vacation. :)

Some people just can't keep comments to themselves?

I'll quote something from the first post in this thread I made.
"Please no brand bashing and mess of that nature. Fanboism is for children."

Put a cork in it.:bigups:

I drive a 96 Chevy Corsica. Has a LOT of missing paint and some cracks in the body, but beyond that it is a good car. While it seems to average at about 23MPG, its not really a gas hog.

Granted, Ive had a car that had a perfect appearance (95 Saturn SL2), that thing had a serious problem with burning/leaking/using oil. Heck- I had to put a quart of oil in it every week and make sure no oil had leaked into the combustion chamber and settled there.

For the two months I had it, I am not sure when it would have died naturally, but perhaps that ahole driving down the road at over 85MPH with tires as bald as a baby's rear end completely removing my front end was the best thing that could have happened to that car. Especially since it happened less than a block from my house- lol.

I actually have pics of both cars (including crash pics of the saturn), but I have to hunt for them.

I wonder how my Corsica would fare against your Miata, mobilemaster, with its 2.2L V4 120HP... LOL

Now that Ive had the Corsica for nearly a year, I'm already looking into a nicer car or even a truck- just not sure which direction I want to go. Perhaps after I paint the Corsica I will just want to keep driving it- lol.
