I thought it'd be interesting to post what you drive, description with image please.
Please no brand bashing and mess of that nature. Fanboism is for children.

Here are my vehicles.
My daily driver is a 1995 Ford Explorer 2WD 4.0L V6 178,000 miles.
My backup/project/hauler is my 1983 Chevrolet Silverado 2WD 5.01L V8 220,000 miles.
The truck needs paint, and my explorer needs a wash. Pollen is bad this year.

Pics of both are here.
Both my vehicles.

Terry Yager has an Awesome truck that already posted around here somewhere isn't it?

I'll have to post pic of mine later. I still have my old car that has a severe engine problem, but can't let it go for some reason....

My Rides?

Main: 1996 Crown Victoria LX 4.6L V8 Dark Blue

Old Broken one: 1983 LTD 3.8L V6 White (Sort of)

Yes, both are Ford.

Mine are both pretty modest.

1994 Chevy Cavalier 2.2L 4-dr red sedan
1986 Jeep Cherokee Chief 2.5L 2-dr blue (AMC manufactured)

I'll get pics...

Damn! I thought I'd take the prize for having the oldest truck here, but mine's only an '84...

Picked up another one for my kid last week, an '89 S-10, four-banger, five-speed, that's still sitting in my driveway (yeah, I've been driving it, just for sh!ts 'n giggles).

Not that my car probably means much, it's an 1996 Hyundai
Sonata 3 litre V6 motor & perhaps one of the smaller sedans
around (for the family). I got it for the comfort value
though. Some people reckon you shouldn't have a car which is
too comfortable - but I've had no problems with it (in terms
of dozing off). Figure I was more likely going to have an
accident if the car had hard old seats.

I travel around 40km last year & this year (divde 40/1.62 to
get miles) & usually get 450km out of it per tank (50 litre I
think it is) & seems to do this miliage nicely.

Cheers.

It's not my daily driver (that's boring) but this is my weekend toy:

Links below for pics of my current daily driver (97 Jeep Wrangler Sport) and one of my previous daily drivers (88 Isuzu Trooper). At one time I had these two vehicle and a third, a 94 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible GTC. No pics of the LeBaron, couldn't get it offroad :)

Sold the Trooper and the LeBaron, kept the Jeep. Hmm...I also have two 87 Toyota Corollas that don't run. They're presently stored at a friend's farm until I can get around to transporting them to my place.

I bought a dodge D5 four-cylender from my dad. It's late 80's, and i think it's a 2.1 litre. My dad has a 2004 durmax 6.6 desiel Chev 2500HD, and a 2000 chev 2500.

Erik definitly takes the cake for hottest care.(IMO)
I think those body style vettes are the best looking car on earth, along with a 1969 boss 429.(IMOs)(except for some super cars, but they cost too much(IMO))

You drive only 40 km per year, and one tank is enough for 450 km? It means you only have to refuel once every 10 years, unless the gas evaporates or goes bad before it is used up.

Btw, one mile normally is 1609 meter, but your figure was close enough.

I wish I could only refuel once every 10 years....

Your right though, Erik's Car is probably the most Awesome one, although I bet Carlsson's Skoda could come close. ^.=.^

Bah, there is nothing awesome with a 1.3 liter Skoda. Practical maybe, but not something to cruise around in. I can't recall how many horsepower it has, but it is not a lot.

Considering how the gas prices are everywhere, I would opt for something with a 4cyl now, I baught the trucks when gas was $1.50/Gal, now it is $2.79/gal.
I will probably pick up an old toyota sometime for a daily driver.

europeans drive small cars ;)

Oh.. and your fuel prices are ridiculously low :D

We pay €1,40 per liter at the moment, which is $1,70 per liter, or $6,46 per gallon.

so don't cry :D

my cars pics...

I was in Germany when the prices got hiked back in 2002, so I'm not cryin about gas. I'd rather have an electric anyday. And the jeep really isn't crooked, I had to patch together two pics to get one big pic.

You'd cry if your car only got 15mpg though.;)
I wouldn't if my car got 40mpg like yours.
I am aware our fuel prices aren't near inflation levels yet, but still, ya get used to paying a certain amount, then it doubles, it is a pain.

Good stuff mrbrutman.

Oops my mistake. For 40 weeks last year, I traveled 40km each
way to school (80km a day) on an average of 4 days each week.
80km x 4 = 320km each week. That's almost 200 miles (198.84421
to be persise). So yeah, plenty of refuels - which it was just
the once though! ;-)

Now to my second mistake. Miles to Kilometres is 1.6093 - but
Kilometres to Miles is 0.6213881 - so I should be multiplying
the Km x .62 to get Miles.

Hope that's all sorted out now! ;-)
