Well folks,

It has become the hot topic on youtube! ChatGPT and GPT-3 and......🤖
have everybody, specially programmers, talking about their implications.
Do you think they could help reviving 👨‍⚕️ a dead Kaypro system?

Well, it is easy enough to find out - simply ask one of those "AI"'s. You will end up with hours of fun either way. ;)
 
I am waiting to see some of our folks trying some troubleshooting
Q/A with the GPT and give an evaluation.... (y) (n) 🤣 😲

I've played with Open AI's playground, feeding it stories to summarize and suggest continuations. It costs money but it's gotten so much cheaper than it was months ago.
 
Dave has a segment on EEVblog YT channel. It's interesting, but it's very clear that ChatGPT can work only with a-priori web-based content, it seems.
For example, if you asked it to translate an IBM 1401 Autocoder program to Python, I don't think it could get enough information from existing sources to even begin, even though the old manuals are online--nobody has seriously written 1401 Autocoder applications for many years.

Whatever the final product is, you have to know what is involved line by line 🔬.
