Hi, my name's Peter and I'm only 18. I guess I should have introduced myself before writing my 1st post!! (Wang PC-001 in Hardware). Anyway, I really don't know why I like to fool around with old computers. I have a couple newer machines too, but here's a list of some older ones.
These are pretty much "The Typical":

- 2 IBM 5150's one w/ 10-MEG Harddrive and one connected to a reel-to-reel tape recorder running BASIC
- 2 IBM 5160's one just for parts
- At least 3 XT clones (Hyundai, MEGA 4000 etc.)
- IBM 5170 286
-TI-99/A
-Tandy HX
Other 286,386,486 etc.

Some interesting items:
-An IBM 9348 (I think) reel2reel tape drive-weighs 150LBS and is really loud that I payed $ 5 for.

-A "PHOTON-10" External Hard Drive

- A Panasonic Senior Partner 8088 "Laptop"

A lot of odds and ends of old stuff that I can't remember now.
Oh yeah, and TONS of 8-Bit cards.
I just keep getting more and more because my dad's friend recycles computers and he gets in old stuff at least once a week. He pretty much lets me climb through piles of computers and pull out what I want which is pretty cool. And 98% of the time the stuff works!

Wow, this is getting long so I'll stop now.

Thanks!

It sounds like you've got a good friend to get stuff from!

Welcome to the VC Forums!

Enjoy!

Erik
