Hello Everyone,

My name's Hannah (hypoElectron)
While I'm not a computer wizard I've always kept my appreciation
of the first computer my family had. The big clunky commodore64
with 2 gigantic B-floppy drives.

I remember playing games like Grandmothers house and Tooth Invaders.
So I've always still loved the older computers even if I don't now
what to do with them mechanically just seeing all the parts lying
around still makes me hyper.

Unfortunatley duc-tape computers rarely work :)

And I would be one... :)

I have managed to find a few Commodore peripherals (disk drives and a tape drive), but have yet to find a C-64 in good condition (not just working; I mean something that has been well-taken care of and not used too much). Unfortunately, I don't have the moolah or space to really get gung-ho with my collecting yet, but oh, wait until I do!

I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to this stuff...I found an Amiga 1200 for $40 that worked fine, but it had a non-standard power supply and a missing key. I couldn't deal with it, so I sold it (got $150 for it, as I remember).
