Does anyone recognize this?

I think that it's a simple digital logic trainer. You have a 555 clock circuit, a lot of small breadboard areas by each IC, some switches and some LEDs. I don't think that it's any more than that. Use Google image search for "logic trainer" to see lots of similar stuff.
 
After figuring out how to get a magnified image, it's pretty clear that this is a breakout board for an MCU (signal labels silk-screened by the big connector pretty much cinch that. Matches up with the pinouts given here

I have no idea how you found this PDF! Very impressive. Do you also know which MCU? I see "MCU CARD H1" in that PDF but I can't find a chip named that.
