Well, project "Ultimate 486" is done for. It's just taking up too much of my time, and either way...I got Windows 2000 on it and got it running fairly decently. Now It's time to work on consolidating my legacy IT down a bit.
Now I'm narrowing down to THREE x86 boxes and one Mac.....
Home Built 486 (aka - Creepingnet 486) - Basically, my attempt to create a good mid-level souped up 486 for DOS/Win 3x gaming.
GEM 286 - staying pretty much the same, the bridge for the gap between the 8088 and 486
Tandy 1000 - It now covers Creepingnet XT's old territory.
Mac SE FDHD - funny enough, my Fiancee should take credit for this one, she's not a Mac gal by any stretch, but she likes the cute little quite useable Mac SE.
I also created five categories in the blog....one for my machines, another for tutorials on how to do stuff (something I've wanted to do for awhile), memoirs/nostalgia, my "what ever happened to" talking about the computers I used to have more in depth.
