Font issue in topic headings - Uppercase "I" vs. lowecase "l"

So, for example, the topic "Discuss AI here" could either be something about artificial intelligence or Al Kossow. Is anyone else confused by this?

It's not just I... rn and m are so close ( RN and M ) in lower case that, especially on older CRTs, they are often impossible to tell apart with proportional fonts.

Wait till we start getting captcha's with that.

And this is why sans-serif fonts are the devil.

Defective fonts are defective. I downloaded some font editor a while back so I could fix the guilty TTF files but now I can't remember what this program was called or what directory it might be hiding in. Of course that doesn't help in the case of websites that insist on serving their own fonts (a whole different rant)

Yes, on many web pages, to my tired eyes, there is no discernable difference between an i and l, let alone the I

I had to google that... Yes, it would be useful. Though if the kerning is suboptimal, the rn as a m issue is still a problem.
