Are you certain that these are 16-bit controllers? Some have a "C/D" edge, but to the best of my knowledge, that's only for access to the higher IRQ pins--the 885 runs just fine in an 8-bit slot. The controller data path itself is only 8 bits. Could it be that the TMC-1600 series that you really want?
I'm 99% certain they are really only 8 bit controllers, I've done my homework.
