Hi there. I'm Peet, and I'm a computerholic.

I have got between 10 and 20 PCs around the house in various states of disrepair, mostly 486 or better. (I threw out a heap of 286 and 386 machines earlier this year, as I could no longer easily access my bedroom! )

I also have several Amigas, BBC micros, Atari STs, Acorn Archimedes etc., but hopefully not for that much longer... After two unsuccessful attempts at getting computer "museums" to take them off my hands, I'm going to be listing the whole lot on eBay. Real soon now. As soon as I can find space to photograph them... :(

I used to repair computers for a living, but I lost the sight in one eye and figured out that a total lack of depth perception wasn't conducive to sticking my hand inside live equipment. Basically, I'm trying to offload about 14 years worth of my spare parts collection... :!:

Including one Atari Portfolio I believe! :)

That Portfolio shouldn't be taking up too
much space now, should it! ;-)

Wow!

It's a long shot, but there aren't any Jupiter
Ace's in there are there?

Cheers.

P.S. Oh sorry, you said 14 years old. The
Jupiter Ace is 20! :-(

I saw some Oric software on ebay
somewhere just today (mainly games I
think - Hunchback was one of them).
I was checking the ebay in the uk &
ebay in Australia, unfortunately I cannot
remember which, probably UK.

Cheers.

This particular Oric is lying in a drinking buddy's attic; he promised it to me two years ago, but I haven't seen him for almost a year now... :?

I hope he wasn't half drunk at the time. I'm
not particularly after an Oric, however it
interested me enough to get an emulator
of one.

It's a bit cheeky saying this here, but having
an Amstrad all my life, might explain why
I don't have an Oric. But I can't say for sure
what it's capable of doing, or if the full
potential of the machine has been archieved.
I have a certain amount of curiosity about
this, so perhaps I should get one. The other
day I saw this early French game (done in
320x200x4 graphics) which had digitialised
graphics. But the use of colour (only 4 mind
you) made it look so real (like a painting
sort of thing).

Cheers.

Thanx! 8)

btw, your "Log me on automatically" checkbox doesn't work for me. I'm using a recent Mozilla under Win2000, and cookies *are* enabled... :?
