Hi all,
I'm a long time lurker and vintage computer enthusiast looking to get more involved in vintage computing as a hobby. I've been recently tinkering with a commodore 64, and working on some other projects. As I gather information, make custom parts, or do other bits and bobs, I hope to share and maybe leave some useful info here for others looking to solve similar problems.
My current interest, due to lack of physical space, is drifting toward miniatures, and scale reproductions of vintage computers. My current unicorn project is a scale miniature Tandy 1000 RL system. I've started on some CAD stuff for it, and 3D printed the mouse as a scale test. I'm not sure how deep I'll get with it, but a working electronic toy version seems like a fun goal. Even just a animated blue DeskMate screen and some noises would be cool. We'll see how it goes!
