Hello all, very nice to meet you and thank you so much for the website and forum! I'm sure lots of awesome people put in a good amount of time to build and maintain it. Thank you!

I'm recently retired so I find myself heading back in time reliving the glory days. I was a sysop of a BBS in the early 90s and still run a few BBS's today! One Synchronet BBS and one very retro Spitfire BBS (my 90s system). Remember FidoNet? I'm still running that as well Recently I decided to dive even deeper into the retro and purchased my first new vintage 486 computer (overview of the system) from eBay. Very much looking forward to its arrival in a few weeks.

Welcome fellow retiree. I too ran a BBS in the early to mid 90s. First WWIV and then moved to PCBoard. Those were fun times.
