I have an 8-bit card here which I think is an MDA adapter but I'm not sure...can you guys please help me identify it?

It got 16Kb of RAM... Didn't the Hercules use 32K or 64K?

Looks more like a CGA clone for me (note the LightPen header).

Probably a mono graphcs card of some stripe. Definitely not a color card of any stripe (look at the componentry near the output connector--you see only two real video signal lines). Although there's a 2Kx8 static RAM (U1, 6116) there, the two SMT devices (U3,U4--KM41464A) are each 64Kx4, so there's your 64K memory.

(Both CGA and MDA/MGA have light pen headers, BTW--it's a function of the 6845 CRTC, so all the manufacturer has to do is provide a header).

There's also a ROM (U5).

I can't read the crystal frequency, but that would help matters.

It could also be a proprietary card.

Now I'm really mystified.
per: "Rightclick on the red X ..."
I don't have a "red x" anywhere. I spent a while looking, just in case it was a really, really, little one. The URL you posted returns "not on this server". Where did you get that URL from anyway?
I'm starting to think you guys are having me on! :)

Amigaz; Here it is again:

Not visible here.

But wait! When I hit the "QUOTE" button, it shows up in the editor. Yes, I can cut and paste that into another browser and VOILA!. Sheesh, without hitting the QUOTE button someone wouldn't know that URL was there. :(
There's some kind of misconfigurationistical thing happening here. :)
