Hp 88780b scsi 9 track tape drive

hey guys...

i've got this monster... we're in long island...

anyone want to make an offer and take her home? she's got a little dent in the back, not 100% sure if it reads, don't have a tape to load, but powers up ok.

Does it have option 800 installed? That is, can you select 800 NRZI density?

"Option 800" would be on the model number tag.
There is a tag on the lower right, which isn't shown on the pictures which may contain the installed options.

I know the original post is 7 years old, but I'm going to take a chance... did you get rid of the HP 88780B already?
