ISA v. EISA

You can add 28xx for VESA Local Bus. The 0 = no floppy and 2 = floppy convention applied to those cards too. There was also an APA-1350 parallel to SCSI adapter (rebranded Shuttle EPST chipset, although Adaptec only provided Win9x/NT drivers, the Shuttle DOS/2K drivers worked with it).

Oh, yeah, forgot about the 28xx VLB, even though I have a few of the adapters myself...

It almost appears like 1xxx is designated as 16-bit compatible, and 2xxx is 32-bit...

I do...

I do with the exception of EISA and PC Card. I also have SCSI for Apple II (non-Adaptec!) and most Macs came with it.
