Need a TM100-2A FDD

Hi

Quick request. I've come to a full stop with the TM100s on my SB II. Neither of them are working well. Undoubtedly they are misaligned so I am looking for a spare. Has anyone got one? Preferably in the UK.

Nope - I have have TEAC, MPI and Shugart full height 5.25 drives - no Tandon I'm afraid.

Do any of them have the same sort of door flap as the Tandon drive (that is, would fit behind a Superbrain front panel)?

I'm sure all three will fit in the SB and I think will work without any interference with the SB case.. The Shugart 390 and the MPI have the same door flap. I recall the Shugart 390 might be an Apple 'special' as I recall so may not operate with your SB.
You are welcome to come and collect and try the MPI as the nearest physical match to your Tandon - That way you can also tell me if it works or not as I have not got around to trying it myself yet !
