New old stock Cardinal CP600 terminal units circa 1988

I just received one today. From the docs it mentions a built-in 300/1200 modem, RS-232 port, a 34-pin card-edge printer port, mag card reader, composite video out (RCA) and phone and line jacks. I plan to use mine as a dumb terminal.

Here is some info from a Department of Commerce on Videotex:

Cardinal Technologies. Videotex terminals are
manufactured and sold by Cardinal Technologies, a small firm
in Lancaster, Pennsylvania that was formed via a leveraged
buyout of what was formerly a division of RCA. The product
line apparently was not suited to the future business plans
of General Electric when it purchased RCA.
The Cardinal videotex terminal uses a standard sized
keyboard and self-contained modem and communications
software. An external monitor such as a- TV receiver is
required. The basic videotex terminal Model CP 600 costs
$399 in single lots and $249 in quantities of 100 or more.
Cardinal has been in discussions and conducted market
studies with several of the Bell companies-to determine the
market potential for the Cardinal in conjunction with
information services gateways.

So I am moving back up north soon and will be dumping/donating this terminal. It's in mint shape in original box with docs. Cost of shipping and it's yours. Coming from zip 34231. I have no use for it anymore. PM me if interested.
