oh I haven't noticed it was all camera pointed at monitor.

Ahhh! The gaming footage!! :) I have an ElGato Game Capture for older consoles, like PS2, and, for the ZX Spectrum and Amiga, I use emulators. As for newer stuff, Shadowplay software from Nvidia ;)

Homebrew titles for the ZX Spectrum are pouring down like rain drops! But Stormfinch is kind of special, it uses the Nirvana Engine that can produce an amazing multi colored tiled display never seen before on a Spectrum game!
Let's take a look!

I’ve just discovered the 1992 MegaDrive/Genesis port of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the action game, and I was positively impressed by this upgrade from the 1989 original home computer versions that I’ve played so much back then!

A few Favorite Games on a few Different Systems - It's a Pixel THING - Ep.#60

This game was released in October of 1986. Two months earlier, in August, Metroid was made available in Japan for the Famicom Disk System. In September, and also for the Famicom Disk System, Akumajou Dracula – aka Castlevania – was, as well, released in Japan. So, unknowingly, The Sacred Armor of Antiriad gave birth to the metroidvania subgenre.
Let's take a look!

Hum, I think the Speccy is mostly a UK affair.
Here in the Netherlands it wasn't very popular. It was mostly Commodore. The VIC-20 was already on the market for a few years, already delivering colour graphics and some primitive music. And the C64 arrived at around the same time as the Spectrum, but was in a completely different league when it comes to graphics and sound.
Initially the Spectrum was attractive because of its pricepoint, but Commodore lowered prices on the C64 very aggressively.

I just wanted to say that, with this video, I think you are taking your videos/channel/production work to a new level. This was enjoyable to watch, showed just enough footage of each game to be interesting without getting boring, and the video production was good too. If you enjoy making these, I will continue to enjoy watching them. Keep up the good work!

PS: What video software are you using to make your motion graphics, for example at https://youtu.be/KKqTqEyi7ec?t=3m37s ?

PPS: That tintin game had surprisingly good graphics with hardly any color clash!

Hum, I think the Speccy is mostly a UK affair.

It was definitely a UK affair that spread to some of Europe. It did not penetrate the Scandinavian countries, nor the USA, which is you and I never really saw them.
