Hi
How is the transformer wired? I have a 3016 PET here with a massive transformer, labelled P/N 320198-03. The schematic is
http://www.zimmers.net/anonftp/pub/cbm/schematics/computers/pet/2001N/320349-9.gif
The transformer's pins are labelled:
4 6 7
5 9 10 8
7 & 8 = 15.3vAC to monitor, brown wires
4 & 6 = 16vAC to mainboard J7, pins 1&5, brown wires
9 & 10 = 16vAC to mainboard J7, pins 8&9 grey wires
5 = GND to mainboard J7, pin 6, black wire
The GND seems to be a centre tap for 4&6 and 9&10 as when I measure across it and any of 4,6,9,10 I get 8vAC. Would this be correct? It would look like this diagram:
The other question is about this transformer that Bokassa managed to acquire. It looks like my schematic, save that it has a single 14v winding with a centre tap, which isn't quite like the original - it woud require the 7-0-4 winding to be connected to both inputs of the logic board (on J7, connect 14vAC to pins 1 & 5, then 1 to 8 and 5 to 9 so both inputs are fed from the same winding).
