Royal Alphatronic PC-8 Eprom Images?

Hi!

I am looking for the US / UK Version of the EPROM Images - in particular I am interested in the Charset / Keymap. I only have the German version where the square brackets { } are not availble which is annoying when trying to program in pascal.

Stephan, have you seen an English version of the maintenance manual for the PC-8? The only one I've found is this: http://oldcomputers-ddns.org/public...8/manual/ta_pc8_service_handbuch_(bw_ocr).pdf

I've got two US PC-8's, but no practical way to read the ROMs.

So I did some digging and found this:

It's a link to a RAR file with ROM dumps, some photos and even a dump of the rare cartridge that the machine could use.

More Royal AlphaTronic stuff (including the tech manual, although the scan quality is pretty bad)

You're welcome! You might finding that setting the keyboard dip switches may be enough to resolve your issue - you may not need to swap out the ROMs.
