TRS-80 Model II CRT Blurry with Horizontal Lines

Another issue has popped up. When booting into the official Tandy Radio Shack diagnostics suite (TRS8TEST.IMD) from the model2archive, it looks as below. My first guess is this is a different video mode than the CP/M disk? According to TRS-80 docs, there were two modes, 80 & 40 column. I'm guessing this is 80 column?

When I figure out why the display looks as in the previous post (can it do that just based on bad data from a floppy drive?) I'll update the thread, and just wanted to end on a happy note, I have the machine booting up on the 8" drive now. Time to rebuild the keyboard ... 😬
