Hello all. My name is Joe and I currently am working on a Zenith Z-Star EX laptop, I have an OPL2LPT sound card on the parallel port from Serda Shop, it's not perfect as the drivers aren't always supported by DOS games, sadly I didn't get the chance to try and get Windows 3.1 to work, as the HDD decided to die on it, working with a 512 Mb SD card via an adapter, works but I need the boot disk in A: to work. Guess that's better then nothing. So far working on locating a good 44-pin IDE drive for it.
Anyhow, I like gaming, trying to get that laptop going for old DOS 6.22 and Win 3.11 games. Almost was done till the drive head clicking of doom.... I am an electronics hobbyist, like quite a few diff types of stuff, Camping, Fishing, Hiking, Photography, 3D Printing, Cooking, Muscle Cars, etc.
