Hello all, I have just recently joined. I am trying to restore a SAGE IV computer and I was hoping to find some help here.
It looks like there are a couple of people here with sone interest in SAGE systems.

My interests primarily lie with older HP Computers and Test Equipment.

Dan,
Welcome to VCF, and to a good resource for information and knowledge from the
experts of many years.

You can start by reading through this thread:
https://forum.vcfed.org/index.php?threads/sage-stride-users.57374/

But, Marcus's URL's (posing #2 and my Posting #7) are no longer available........but it's on the wayback machine.

It appears that the manual you reference only has 184 pages, with the Multiuser Sections missing.

Welcome from Vamp Verde. I saw that listing and I was very tempted to get a storage unit just to have room for it but it wouldn’t have been able to work on it. Glad it wasn’t trashed. Let me know if you need help restoring it. I have a tube tester and other test equipment that can come in handy. I’m also a ham radio operator so I can legally transmit the RF section into a dummy load if need be.

Oh I thought it was part of the Facebook Marketplace listing. Someone already got the targeting system but the radar part was still available as of February this year. It’s funny how much vintage computer gear turns up in our county. Two years ago an HP mainframe was on Craigslist too.

Does the SAGE IV have expansion slots? The article you posted only mentions extra ram and parallel/serial ports but not any expansion save for a 50 pin connector of some kind. What kind of faults does it have? I have a post card and logic analyzer that you can borrow to repair it.
