PDP-11/10 available in Maryland

Hello all,

I have a PDP-11/10 on a stand-up rack with power supply, 8" FDs, real-time device control interface front panel, misc accessories, maybe some manuals, that was functional at one point in my illustrious post-doc history (regrettably, many moons ago). I could not list all the pieces, however, because they are piled up in boxes due to multiple moves from Cambridge Mass. I would like to donate it to a worthy organization or individual curator who will keep it humming smoothly until perhaps the year 2125, after which I will be dead and won't really care what happened to the machine.

The only hitch is that you would have to collect it here in Bethesda MD, or pay for the shipping if we can figure out how to get it to you.

Any takers? If not, does anyone in this forum know of someone who might be interested?

Boy is he fast. 21 minutes! It just goes to show that you've got to read the forums many times each day!

At any rate, we know that the machine will be in good hands. I however would like to know more about the industrial control use of this 11/10. Would the original poster be willing to tell us more about his post-doc and where this machine was used?
