If you want to see one in the flesh, InfoAge science center where MARCH's vintage computer collection is on display in Wall NJ has one of the only Apollo guidance computers out in the wild.

You will also find the AGC schematics on the web (all made out of NOR gates) at http://klabs.org/history/ech/agc_schematics/ and an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) implementation of the hardware schematics at http://opencores.org/project,agcnorm. This was a project I did a few years ago. I must update the opencores download at some point as I have a new version which works with various developments of DSKY people were building.

A friend of mine has also developed a replica DSKY which I am hoping to interface to my FPGA implementation at some point in the near future.

I've seen that wire wrap AGS and plans. It looks like the kind of thing I would build if I had a LOT of spare time.

Hi Chuck - If you don't mind a bit of a tangent...

A former neighbor of mine had a couple of boxes in his garage of prototype

RF circuits he'd designed (for Ranger's video link, I think) - "Sandwich" style

construction, with separate power & ground plane boards that captured

discrete transistors and components between them.

Don (Boensel) was a few years out of MIT at the time - Very smart guy...
