For Sale: spotted on Craigslist (continuous sightings)

I had to look into that CRT for that crazy price. It's for industrial equipment... and they do sell for a lot!Screenshot_20190111-064642_Chrome.jpg

Yeah, industrial equipment does. But if it's the same as POS monitors (9-inch Monochrome), they're a bit cheaper. I just happened to be researching high-resolution or color alternatives for the Macintosh monitor, and here's a list of possible models I've found, usually costing around $100:
Boundless: 2996-1308-8090
IBM 92G7831
Modgraph: MG-3230, MG3230
NCR: 2996, 2996-1300-7190, 1300-7190
Smile: MA0931, MA-0931, MO935, M0935, MB0931, MB-0931, MBO931, MB-O931
Tatung: VM 9AF, VM9AF
Viewmagic: MD935A
Edit: wow someone has already done it...

That appears to be someone's raspberry pi hackintosh project.

This is true. That's what I was looking for, as in my opinion the actual original crt is not as difficult to find. But finding a crt that fits in that spot is important as the typical LCD method always looks kind of fugly.

That is not a bad price, that unit has rare capacitive buckling spring keyboard that preceded the Model F. You can lift them out of Datamasters and adapt them to modern PCs. The seller should post this on DeskAuthority or GeekHack.

Go play in traffic.

If it were in my power, I'd remove you from these forums for your herecy.

Completely different beasts w/ different processors and programming. They are also not worth anywhere close to what he is asking.

Trust me I think the price is ridiculous as well. I just know very little about the 5322 system. I assumed it was an AS/400 predecessor of some sort

I sold mine for ~100$. I even brought it to the guy in the Allentown, PA area because I felt bad. And man what a grouch! I ain't doing anymore favors for grouchy people.
