I asked the guy with the Compaq 2570 if he had the keyboard and he did find it as well. He has 3 auctions going that are separate (main system, monitor, and keyboard/software).

Decent looking Columbia Data Products 1600. Might have some extra cards installed.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/224138446461?nordt=true

A CDP keyboard, but the seller wants way too much, especially if that is a capacitive foam keyboard.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/264845055331?nordt=true

Columbia Data Products 1600 with keyboard and CP/M disks
https://www.ebay.com/itm/254703133771?nordt=true
Looks like an early revision. It is shown working and seems to have an earlier BIOS.
It comes with genuine floppy disks of CP/M-86 1.1 CDP OEM 1.5 and CP/M-86 1.1 CDP OEM 1.7, ad well as a tutor disk. It also comes with the odd-connector parallel port cable.

But most interestingly, it comes with a flyer for the "COG Columbia Owners Group" that describes what happened to CDP:

"INTRODUCING THE COLUMBIA OWNERS GROUP

The Columbia Owners Group (COG) is a new association which is being formed for the purpose of uniting owners and users of Columbia Data Products computers. Through COG you will be able to acquire needed enhancements and services to assure the higher level of support for your computer.
By forming COG, our intention is to bring together the thousands of Columbia owners and build a continuing organization to look out for our common needs.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO COLUMBIA DATA PRODUCTS, INC?

Over the last several months, Columbia Data Products, Inc. has been liquidated. Most of the plant assets and inventory were sold off to a variety of buyers. On April 16, all remaining assets, including the company name and technology, were purchased by Mr. Alan L. Welsh. Mr. Welsh owns a company in Orlando, Florida, Called Godfather's Used Computers Syndicate. Over the last year, Godfather's was the largest reseller of Columbia computers in the nation.
Over the last month, Mr. Welsh has moved Columbia's remaining assets to Orlando and is in the process of forming a new Columbia Data Products, Inc. His immediate plans include the introduction of a new "AT-compatible" computer in the near future.

WHAT IS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE COLUMBIA OWNERS GROUP AND THE NEW COLUMBIA DATA PRODUCTS, Inc?

While the direction of the new Columbia Data Products, Inc. will be to market new computer systems, Mr. Welsh is very concerned about the on-going requirements of existing owners. As a result, the Columbia Owners Group is being formed as a separate organization. Mr. Welsh has directed the formation of COG and will assure a close working relationship between the two organizations.

SPECIFICALLY, WHAT WILL THE COLUMBIA OWNERS GROUP OFFER ITS MEMBERS?

This depends a lot on the input we receive from the charter members. The membership application, which is attached to this newsletter, includes a brief survey to allow you as a charter member to tell us what you need from the organization.
A couple of things are definite, however. As a member of COG, you will receive a quarterly newsletter to keep you informed. While the actual content of the newsletter will be determined from th suggestions we receive from the charter members, you can be assured that each issue will include information and products to help you get the most from your computer.
Next, you will be offered special pricing on items from Columbia Data Products, Inc directly through the Columbia Owners Group. A few items which are currently in high demand are being offered in this introductory newsletter.
And finally, by joining COG you will also be entitled to preferred customer service from Columbia Data Products, Inc on questions regarding the operation of your computer hardware. "

They are calling this luggable a "WordPerfect portable computer" because it has a WordPerfect overlay on the keyboard. But I don't see any branding information on this either.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/184434472596?nordt=true
That looks like the generic "build your own luggable" case I have. It accepts a full-size AT motherboard and has a 9-inch white phosphor monochrome CRT that can accept either CGA RGB or MDA/Hercules video. So it could have almost anything in it.

I'd venture a reliable giveaway that it's "generic" is how the monitor connection cable pops out through a little hole and plugs into the external jack on the back of the video card instead of being connected to a header internally.

The fact that it has a 3.5" floppy drive would suggest it's *probably* a 286 or better, but yeah, all bets are off after that.

IBM Personal Computer XT: case top looks icky but the back looks OK. May have a hard drive. They don't show the insides.

Oh, and "Vinage Computer Part" well, ha ha, that is very descriptive.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/383721658020?nordt=true

Shame it can't be tested, but having the box + shipping material = might actually make it through the postal system, so that's cool.

The seller actually had 4 of them in the box. I took a chance and offered $500 for all 4 which included shipping. They are on their way to me now. I'll post an update when I get them.
